Through Aug 21: Rauschenberg in China
A must-see exhibition featuring Robert Rauschenberg’s (1925-2008) magnum opus The ¼ Mile or 2 Furlong Piece (1981-98); the first time the 190-part and 305 meters-long work is exhibited since 2000. Also included in the exhibition is a selection of Rauschenberg’s color photographs titled Studies for Chinese Summerhall (1983), taken during the artist’s travels in China in 1982.

Aug 8: Salsa Palma @ Migas
Head over to Migas tonight at 8pm and get a free one-hour salsa lesson by Nari from NB Salsa. You’ll learn a selection of merengue, bachata, cha-cha-chà, mambo and, of course, salsa moves. There will be Latin music bumping all night long so you can show off your new moves.

Aug 9: Chinese Valentine’s Day
It’s almost Valentine’s Day again. Chinese Valentine’s Day, that is. Also known as Qixi, China’s Valentine’s Day occurs during the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. And this year it falls on Tuesday August 9. If you’ve got a special someone in Beijing and you want to celebrate Qixi, fear not. Aug 13: F2N DIY Handmade Rubber Stamp Workshop
Stop by Farm to Neighbors Farmers' Market this Saturday and learn how to make your very own customized rubber stamp. The workshop includes all the tools you’ll need to make your own stamp. Make sure to sign up by Wednesday August 10 so the organizers can provide enough materials for everyone.
